Ayanda Thabethe shows off multi-million rand Rolls Royce – Mzansi reacts
Famous Mzansi model and media personality and beauty influencer Ayanda Thabethe has set tongues wagging after her partner Peter Matsimbe reportedly gifted her a luxury, Rolls Royce.
The Celebrity Game Night team captain lives a life of opulence and she’s not afraid to show it off.
In recent pictures, Ayanda shared images of her new car, which costs millions of rands, in her “June photo dump”.
Ayanda and her man, who is a controversial businessman, may not be seen together often, but the pair do show off their expensive holiday trips, their R19.5 million upmarket home which was reportedly on sale and their exotic cars.
Almost a week ago, Matsimbe sparked buzz online with photos and videos of his new Ferrari SF90 Spider, reportedly valued at R14 million.
This comes a year after Ayanda shared images of her luxury R4 million valued Mercedes Benz Maybach, which was also allegedly bought by Matsimbe as a “push present” after the birth of their second baby last year
However, the expensive gifts and affluent lifestyle always sets tongues wagging due to negatives reports about Matsimbe’s business dealing.

Last year it was reported that Ayanda’s partner is facing fraud allegations dating back to 2019. At the centre of the fraud allegations are 10 luxury cars that went missing while in his possession.
The publication reports that court papers filed in August 2019 reveal Matsimbe used fake documents to receive funding from the bank to purchase luxury vehicles from various dealerships. He reportedly did this through his company called Matsimbe and Co.
Some of the cars purchased include a Toyota Hilux, Toyota Land Cruiser, Lexus SUV, Lexus LX, Mclaren MP4 coupé, BMW X5 SUV, Can-Am Maverick, Audi Q3, a Nissan Navara and a Volvo mechanical horse.
In 2019, Standard Bank was allegedly granted a court judgement to get the cars back from Matsimbe which he reportedly ignored. This resulted in the bank obtaining a warrant of committal for contempt of court against Matsimbe.
According to reports, the warrant ordered Matsimbe to be arrested for 30 days. However, only two cars were recovered; the Mclaren and the Volvo.
Matsimbe’s brother Richard was reportedly embroiled in a similar scandal in which he obtained a loan of R22 million from businessperson Jacobus Jansen for two luxury cars.
