Amanda Du-Pont’s ex husband Shawn Rodriquez spotted with his new woman
Obviously, it is not a secret that Amanda du-Pont and ex-husband, Shawn Rodrigues‘ marriage came to an unexpected end. To be fair, their marriage also came as a shock because neither of them shared images or videos of their day. Amanda announced her engagement but never spoke of marriage until the passing of her grandmother.
According to TshisaLive, both Amanda and Shawn ended their 3-year marriage on January 20.
Now, gossip blogger Musa Khawula posted Instagram screenshots of a woman claiming to have been on a date with Shawn. Charelle Johnson posted an image of her and a man holding hands in what appears to be a dinner date.
Amanda responded to Musa Khawula’s report accusing her of dating a new man in Cape Town.
“The original video. An afternoon riding bikes and scooters with my friends. The image you posted seems to be a malicious cropped version to insinuate rumours. For clarity, the man in the image is my bodyguard. A polite plea to leave my name out of your gossip,” she clapped back.
The last time Shawn spoke of anything related to Amanda was when she posted a video accusing former boyfriend Jub Jub of rape.
“F**k you, pig. I can’t wait until you f***ng burn in hell,” he said in his IG stories and tagged Jub Jub.
Shawn’s message comes after Amanda said this about Jub Jub, “No, you didn’t smash me, you raped me, you forcibly opened my legs, forced me myself for two years and made me believe that there was no way out. . The most painful part of all of this was that I was a virgin and I told him at the time. I told Jub Jub at the time that I was a virgin and I planned to be a virgin until the time I got married,” said a tearful Amanda.
“So it is not true. I didn’t leave because I saw a picture. I left because he tried to kill me and I have always been afraid to leave because of the treats that were made but at that moment where he tried to kill me I knew the very thing I was afraid of, which was dying… I knew was meant to happen that day and I actually got away,” she continued.
“When I got away I went to the police station to try and open a case of abuse and rape and attempted murder. The police officer said to me to go home and think about my decision because he is so sick and tired of women coming to him with their boyfriends and husbands only having to take them back,” she added. “I had an abortion of course because there was absolutely no way I would have a child that was forcefully given to me,” she said.
