AKA sets the record straight about what triggered the fight with Burna Boy. In 2020, the two musicians who were friends turned out to be enemies following a xenophobic debate. AKA whose real name is Kiernan Forbes revealed last year that he has nothing against the Nigerian singer anymore.

However, the Grammy Awards won by Wouter Kellerman, Nomcebo and Zakes Bantiwnini resurfaced talks about the two aforementioned musicians.

Burna lost to the South African musicians which made some people rejoice due to the history the Nigerian singer has with mzansi.

“Congratulations 2 @Nomcebozikode @ZakesBantwiniSA @wouterkellerman for winning grammy award. I guess @akaworldwide AKA was right when he said we are gifted in South Africa. He was defending us against Burna Boy …funny thing our artists won against him (@burnaboy)” a tweep wrote.

AKA instantly cleared the air by recounting what caused the fight.

“Congrats but that chat wasn’t about music or talent. It actually started with soccer and ended up being about xenophobia. Crazy times,” the rapper wrote.
