Mzansi star and Somizi’s baby mama Palesa Madisakwane detailed about the accident that almost ended her life in 2019.

Madisakwane who has a 26-year-old daughter (Bahumi Mhlongo) with Somizi Mhlongo recently discussed her tragic car accident.

The actress talked to YouTuber Relebogile Mabotja on Unpacked with Relebogile Mabotja to discuss her car accident, and how it affected her career.

The news anchor said she lost consciousness and was woken up by her daughter’s voice who was trapped inside the car that was on fire.

Madisakwane said people arrived at the scene, managed to rescue her daughter and they both received medical attention in the ambulance..

“But inside the ambulance, I kept losing consciousness and at that moment, felt like my spirit was leaving my body.”

How the accident affected her career
Madisakwane also revealed that she lost several job opportunities since the car accident as she experiences constant headaches and memory loss.

She said she once got a job at a TV station as a news anchor in the morning which only lasted for three months.

“This is because I would look at the autocue and it would go blurry. “

“In another incident, I lost consciousness while interviewing a top politician.”

The legendary actress also added that her character on Isibaya was cut short because she couldn’t remember her lines.
