Actress Manaka Ranaka Fired For Refusing To Abort Baby

Very pregnant Manaka Ranaka has taken to social media to wish her eldest daughter, Katlego, a blissful 20th birthday celebration. The actress had to re-visit a very unpleasant ordeal where she was given an ultimatum by her previous employers.

The proud mother revealed that when she was pregnant with her first baby, her previous employer who was a woman told her to abort her baby but she refused. This resulted in her getting fired.

In an emotional Instagram post wishing her daughter a happy 20th birthday, Manaka boasted about proud she is of her and how she has zero regrets.

“Happy Birthday mama. The one who made me a mother . The one who made me aGmom (grandmother) . You @kay.stone_core are such a blessing in my life. We were so meant to be. 20 years of doing this life thing together, and I’ve never looked back since. I remember when women I worked for told me to abort you and I was like la hlanya (y’all are crazy), they fired me!

“Honestly I didn’t care, coz I was so determined to keep you and enter the next chapter in my life and that was being a mom ( Lauren Hill’s song Zion kept me going when I felt that the world was against us). I was ready man, as young as they said I was, I was ready for you, and its been quiet a journey baby. A journey I would repeat any day. Have a blessed day ngwanaka (my child). Generations: The Legacy actress who plays Lucy Diale recently became a grandma. She then revealed that she too will be welcoming her baby any time soon. Although motherhood is not anything new to her because she has two grown daughters, the actress told Daily Sun that the experience is nothing new. She has also slammed those who hold boy children at the highest honor than girls.

“It’s the same feeling I felt when I had my two daughters, so this experience is nothing new. People have been saying they hope I’m carrying a boy, but we’ll see. I look forward to giving birth to a child. I don’t care if it’s a boy or a girl, as long as it’s not an animal,” she laughed.

“Boys and girls are equally important and have different functions in society. “I don’t believe that boys are necessarily better. According to society and culture norms, they’re carriers of legacies. Girls also bring kids into this world,” she added.
