Actress & DJ Thuli Phongolo attacked for not knowing the price of anything

Mzansi actress and DJ, Thulisile Phongolo gets dragged on social media after revealing that she has no idea of what things cost, as she just buys without being concerned about the price.

The economy has changed with things getting more expensive; people have lamented and some created jokes in other to express their concerns about how hard things have become.

“I seriously don’t know how much anything costs, it’s not cute, it’s actually naive of me. I need to do better and be more attentive to the price of things and in tune with our economic state,” she tweeted on Thursday.

The statement has Thuli trending as many expressed disappointment in her.

Her post is so distasteful, on so many levels. Talk about failing to read the temperatutre in the room.

La hlanya with all these think pieces in the comments. It’s her reality and her tweet. Be it irresponsible or not, she’s actually acknowledging that she wants to do better. There are most probably people who can relate to this, just because not everyone does, doesn’t nullify it.
