Actress Connie Ferguson Partners With Axel Diamonds
Actress Connie Ferguson is arguably one of the best stars Southern Africa has ever produced. Popular for her role on The Queen as well as Generations, she’s not just a talented TV star but also a great businesswoman and most importantly she supports her own.
The acclaimed actress and executive producer’s latest post on Instagram were to endorse a Black-Owned Business. And the star did not just choose any business, she stuck to her brand by opting to promote a Black-Owned bespoke jewellery maker; Axel Diamonds. The company has set its self apart from other businesses by stating that they are “introducing innovative and legendary craftsmanship”
“The Queen” lead actress used the caption to the post to explain the significance of endorsing the business by detailing the formation of the brand. The caption details that, “Axoli Mbontsi has been designing and making bespoke jewellery pieces for about 10 years now. Two years ago he took a leap of faith and started his own business in a mainly white-dominated industry. The collaboration with his clients to personalise their designs and the time and attention he gives them makes him truly special, and the attention to detail in the pieces is out of this world.”
But the actress has not only put her platforms behind endorsing the brand, she has even gone a step further. Going on to their website the revelation is that she has also placed her face behind the brand. Connie is officially the face of Axel Diamonds and gets the opportunity to wear the most prized off the bespoke pieces designed by Axoli.
One of the pieces that are promoted using the face of the ageless beauty is the “Iconic Solitaire.” The description of the design has been incorporated with her looks by stating that, “This design resembles a beautiful queen who unapologetically wears her crown effortlessly. Her irresistible beauty comes from a kind and gentle heart and glows radiantly everyday like the African sun.”
Connie has always been a fan of diamonds and getting her name behind jewelry companies. The first jewelry company she was affiliated with was the now popular Nungu Diamonds. The company is owned by Kealeboga Pule and his wife, Kagiso Legalane-Pule.
