Actress Candice Modiselle Lashes Out After Being Mistaken For Bontle

Actress Candice Modiselle recently shared a stunning snap of herself on social media and while she was enjoying her shine, some of her followers mistaken Candice for her older sister Bontle Modiselle. This is not the first time this has happened. A lot of the time when she shares her images, people mistake her for Afrika’s mom.

This women’s month, Candice and her sisters had the opportunity to join Unathi on Kaya FM.

Modiselle revealed that hosting alongside Unathi was a dream and an absolute joy for her. “A dream and an absolute joy co-hosting alongside the loves of my life. Unathi you continue to hold us in so much love and kindness. Know that you’re cherished as our sister. Thank you!” She said. She also gave a big shoutout to the radio station for having them over

Speaking about Bontle, she hosted this year’s SAMA Awards alongside The River actor Lawrence Maleka. They two got praise for the excellent job they did running the show.

Chatting about the gig Modiselle said that feels honoured to be part of the awards. “I’m incredibly excited to be part of the SAMAs. It comes full circle for me because I hosted the SAMA25 red carpet, so now to be on the main stage is mind-blowing, to be trusted with this huge responsibility is humbling.

“Also considering the times we are in, the SAMAs are a big medium and an honorary celebration of our musicians and talents who have gotten the people through the toughest of times. To do it next to a consummate professional, one of my favourite talents is a thrill. We meet together again and to be held, guided, supported and elevated by him is something I cherish. A couple of months back, Candice announced that she had launched her jewellery line Selle Jewellery. She describes it as a line of fun fashion.

“Introducing the newest love of my life Selle Jewellery. A line of fun fashion jewellery made accessible,” she said in part. The logo was designed by the talented Aj Africa.

Her proud sister, Bontle Modiselle also took to Instagram to congratulate her. She said she is very proud of her and cannot wait to witness the journey of her new venture.

By the time you told me what you were creating, hours of work, planning, and prayer had already happened.
