ActionSA not happy with Murunwa Makwarela choice as City of Tshwane mayor

ActionSA’s Bongani Baloyi is disappointed by the appointment of Murunwa Makwarela, as the City of Tshwane executive mayor.

Makwarela beat the DA’s Cilliers Brink to the mayoral chains.

Baloyi insists that the coalition in Tshwane remains intact, he says they will be coming back stronger.

“Look for us, we are disappointed with the outcome of what happened today in Tshwane,”

“It’s the outcome of a democratic process. But however, we feel disappointed because close to 11 councilors decided to vote with Dr Makwarela.”

“I cannot point to any councillor whom I know that is disgruntled,” he said.
