A Durban comedian victim in a series of shootings in Wentworth

A Durban comedian is the latest victim in a series of shootings in Wentworth.

It is believed he was in the area when the vehicle he was travelling in was shot at. The comedian drove himself to the hospital for treatment.

The latest shooting incident has sparked fear among the community.

“The community is angry, the community is being held hostage and innocent people are getting killed during this drug turf war.

“The Wentworth police station is not doing enough,” said a local community activist.

Community members are calling on Police Minister, Bheki Cele to intervene in the situation.
