10 Things You Didn’t Know About Scandal!’s Dineo Rasedile (Yanga)

Her character on the e.tv show has grown tremendously. Dineo Rasedile has worked her way up, to be one of the most recognized faces on TV. Many have come to know her as Yanga, the feisty young woman on Scandal!

1. 29 year old Dineo Rasedile attended Highveld Ridge Primary School and matriculated from Hoërskool Secunda in 2008.

2. After completing school, Ms Rasedile studied bio-medicine from 2009 to 2010.

3. She began training at Stagedoor Academy in Centurion in 2011, where she booked her first commercial for SuperSport.

4. In her second year, Ms Rasedile booked main character roles in musical theatre productions. After graduation, she was booked for a television commercial, her first paying job.

5. Thereafter, she was a roadshow presenter for Dove’s self esteem project during which she travelled around Gauteng for three years, presenting workshops while she was still auditioning for other theatre roles.

6. Dineo is also known for her role as Thuli, a young school girl in the local drama, “Shuga Down South” season two that airs on MTV Base on channel 322.

7. The talented actress is also part of the supporting cast in a UK international film, “Sulphur and White”, that was released in 2019. She plays the role of Dora.

8. Dineo recently bagged a supporting role in the new 10-part Netherlands drama series ‘Commandos’, which will be debuting on the 30th of August on the country’s national broadcaster, NPO3.

9. Towards the ed of 2019, the multi-talented star got to write for Mac Cosmetics Africa for their Power of Make-Up campaign.

10. Dineo recently announced that she is the new Brand Ambassador of Love Ur Locks natural hair products.
